Click here to listen or download the individual songs from "An Evening With Jonathan." Click here to listen to (or download) the entire performance in one file. ***Very Special*** Click here to listen to Jonathan's last recorded live performance. We are still editing the video clips, but will have them up soon. Jonathan played at a lot of places during his short musical career. He had his favorites, which includes Tony's Tavern (Old Hammond Highway in Baton Rouge), M's Fine and Mellow Cafe' (Third Street in Baton Rouge), and The Train Station in Denham Springs. Hear are a two of his entire performances. We are also converting and editing the videos for the "Jonathan's Video Vault" section. Click here for Jonathan at Tony's Tavern. Click here for Jonathan at M's Fine and Mellow Cafe' (accompanied by Jonathan Gann on guitar / bass). Note: Both "An Evening With Jonathan" and "The Last Recorded Live Performance" were recorded at The Train Station in Denham Springs. I'd like to recognize Mr. Park Haussler, who managed Train Station at the time. He always made Jonathan feel very special and welcome. The same can be said for 'The Devine Miss M' at M's Fine and Mellow Cafe.' She was always very kind to Jonathan. Jonathan played the Livingston Parish Fair. He was the youngest person to play on 'Rock Night' and the youngest to play on 'Country Night.' He was the only one that played on both nights. While this was early in his music career and in front of the largest audience he ever played, he had absolutely no fear. Here are those two performances. Click here for Country Night. Click here for Rock Night. Jonathan had several 'signature' songs. These are songs he almost always had to do at a performance. These songs include 'Take The Long Way Home,' 'What Might Have Been,' and especially Jim Croce's 'Operator.' Other than the beautiful tribute his Mom did, the only song played at his funeral was a beautiful guitar solo of Operator, by his friend Tony. Here is one version of Operator by Jonathan. The crowd noise is kind of loud, but I still have many, many tapes to go through. Perhaps I can find a better version. The Lost Song: Actually, I did not think I had this song recorded. Jonathan never particularly liked the song or performing it. I stumbled across it purely by accident and as an incredible surprise. He sings it a tad faster than he did, sitting around the house playing it with only me listening. Possibly, he wanted to hurry up and get done with it. The last time I heard him play, he sang it for me. It is most special to me. I think his version of this is incredible. I would like to know what you think. If you like it as much as I do, please leave a note in the guestbook. I am in the process of trying to get the tape edited and played (at least once) at a radio station. I think he would like that.
